Available on the 2024 Ford Explorer^® Platinum model, adaptive headlamps help guide you through the darkness, and adjust with your vehicle's movement. When you turn, the lights turn with you, aiding in your visibility around corners and helping you to react sooner to what's around the bend.^†

Twin-Panel Moonroof

Available on all 2024 Ford Explorer^® models except Base, the twin-panel moonroof does more than just let light in. It offers an expansive view of the sky and lets you feel the warmth of the sun.

2.3L EcoBoost^® I-4 Engine

This turbocharged powerplant churns out 300 hp* and 310 lb.-ft. of torque* for spirited drives around town or far from it. The 2.3L EcoBoost I-4 engine comes standard on the Base, XLT, ST-Line, Timberline^® and Limited models.

3.0L EcoBoost^® V6 Engine

The 3.0L EcoBoost^® V6 engine with Auto Start-Stop Technology is the backbone of the ST, King Ranch^® and Platinum model powertrains. It combines turbocharging and direct injection to produce 400 hp* and 415 lb.-ft of torque. *
